Shipping Policy

All shipments will be made via UPS. A physical address must be provided where the party receiving the shipment can be reached during the week. UPS will not deliver to a post office box. Woody’s Smokehouse puts forth every effort to ship orders on a timely basis.

For orders that do not include perishable items, we will ship your order on the next business day. In the event that perishable items are included in your order, we can only ship on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in order to avoid these items sitting in UPS warehouses over the weekend. Please allow up to seven days for delivery during holiday seasons.

At our sole discretion, some non-perishable items (such as beef jerky and other products) may only be shipped out only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the summer months because the quality of the items could degrade if they are left in hot warehouses for extended periods of time. These items are not perishable and can still be shipped via UPS Ground regardless of your location, but we feel that the customer’s satisfaction is best served by a fresh product.

You will select your shipping options at checkout. If perishable items are included in your order, you must select a shipping option for up to a maximum of two business days in transit leaving from our central Texas location either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

You can get a good idea of the UPS Ground transit time by clicking Here to see a map generated by UPS. If your order contains perishable items and the UPS Ground transit time is more than two days, you should choose UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air at checkout.

All perishable products are frozen before shipping. The items received may have thawed slightly during shipment. Place the products in the refrigerator (for up to 5-6 days) or freezer if not using immediately. Please also store jerky in the refrigerator or freezer, as it has a tendency to mold when left out for long periods of time.

Note: All orders are reviewed based upon product mix and days in transit, and if UPS Ground is chosen by mistake for perishable products when UPS 2nd Day Air should have been chosen, we will need to contact you and update your order with the correct shipping method. This will cause a delay in the shipment of your order, so please be sure to choose the correct shipping method when you place your order.

Returns Policy

While we want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase from the Woody’s Smokehouse online store, we cannot accept a return on any food product once it has been opened. We also regret that we cannot guarantee orders for which we have been given an incorrect delivery address or that have been shipped to a P.O. Box address.

If the item was lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at 903 536-9663 so we can open a claim with UPS and assist in getting your package to you.
